Qualified senior citizens may receive a 5% discount on their monthly electricity bill, subject to ERC guidelines. The discount applies to eligible residential accounts with monthly consumption not exceeding 100 kWh and is granted per household.

Requirements and Guidelines:

• Valid Senior Citizen ID and completed application form 
• Account must be under the senior citizen's name 
• Applicable to residential accounts only 
• Monthly consumption must not exceed 100 kWh to qualify for the 5% discount 
• Discount applies per household, regardless of the number of senior citizens residing therein 
• Subject to annual validation/renewal If the senior citizen is unable to personally visit the service center, an authorized representative may submit the requirements through walk-in application
